The reconstruction of the old casern which started in 2005 has been a historical milestone. After being vacancy for about seven years the building lost its Wilhelminian style. The imperial construction was nothing else than a run down hulk. But through salvea it gets its live back in spring 2008.

The well-known Michael Jaeger, a photographer from Duesseldorf has documented the procedures step by step. So a diary developed which portrayed the conversion in a very detailed form.
